My girls are all about Kidz Bop music.  We carry Sirius XM in our cars just so the girls can tune into channel 77 and listen to all their favorite Kidz Bop hits.  And, it wouldn't be Halloween without pulling out the Kidz Bop Halloween Hits!  Even though this CD released back in 2012, it is still a hit with fans of Kidz Bop music.  My girls were excited to get a package from the folks at Kidz Bop the other day to celebrate the release of their new Kidz Bop 36 release.  Including were hats, t-shirts, a light up microphone and Kidz Bops CDs including the new release and this popular Halloween Hits CD.  

I wish you could have seen the girls' faces when they saw this CD.  They were so excited as we have been streaming this CD through our Amazon Music account and the girls have been having a blast dancing and singing along to the all the great kid-friendly Halloween classics like Michael Jackson's Thriller, and the ever popular "Monster Mash."  The girls were so happy to finally have the CD to bring in the car and listen to when we go places as these songs aren't played on the Kidz Bop radio channel right now.

If you follow my blog, then you have probably seen me post about Kidz Bop and how my girls are huge fans of this kid-friendly music. And, as a parent, I love being able to hear top pop hits in the car, without having to turn down the volume when a bad word is muttered, or an inappropriate song comes on the radio.  Whenever I listen to Kidz Bop on the radio with the girls, or one of their many CDs, I totally forget that these songs are sung by kids for kids, as they really are great recordings and sound just like the original songs sung by the artist.  It is a win-win whenever we are in the car and listening to Kidz Bop, as the girls love singing and dancing along to the music, and I don't have to sit through boring kid music.  Instead, we all get to enjoy chart topping hits that can be enjoyed for all listening ears.

And, the same can be said for this Halloween release.  I had a hard time choosing a favorite from the 15 songs that make up this CD, and I loved being able to share some of my favorite childhood Halloween songs with my girls.  We have only had this CD for a few days now, but like all the other Kidz Bop songs the girls have heard, my girls were quick in picking up the lyrics and were singing right along with me to Halloween classics like "Ghostbusters" and "Witch Doctor." 

This Halloween I plan to have this CD going in the background so that when the kids come to trick or treat they will think we are the cool parents listening to cool music. :-)  Just kidding.  We will be pausing between handing out candy to the kids, to dance and sing along to these catchy Halloween songs.  It will definitely be a memorable Halloween filled with great music and fun thanks to the Kidz Bop Halloween Hits! CD.
