by Exploring Animals and Their “Creature Powers”
As part of our homeschooling, I have been using Wild Kratts DVDs we have accumulated over the years to teach girls about the many different and wonderful creatures found all over the world. If you have little ones who enjoy Wild Kratts, then you know how educational this PBS Kids show is. One minute they are learning about creatures found in the ocean, and the next they come face to face with animals found in the Rain Forest. The Kratt brothers make learning about different creatures fun by taking kids on a wild adventure, while also sharing fun facts about each creature, so kids get a better understanding of the animal, their surroundings, and the predators who hunt them.
Each and every time my girls sit and watch this show, their eyes are glued to the television. They oftentimes with run to the dining room table after the show to draw a picture of the animal they learned about that day and will talk my husband's and my ear off at dinner time, sharing all about the show. Who knew kids could get so excited about sharks, blowfish, raptors and jaguars. But, thanks to the Wild Kratts and this new triple feature DVD release, your kids will love watching the 8 adventure-filled episodes over and over again, like my girls do.
This DVD would make for a great non-candy Easter basket filler, too! :-)

WILD KRATTS transforms the Kratt Brothers, creators of the award-winning “Kratts’ Creatures” and Emmy-winning “Zoboomafoo,” into animated versions of themselves, allowing the real-life zoologists to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats and showcase key science concepts along the way. From elephants using physics to suck gallons of water with their trunks to a fleet of peregrine falcons that harness the force of gravity to speed through the air, each episode of WILD KRATTS presents age-appropriate science inspired by the natural abilities of the animals that the Kratt Brothers – and young viewers – meet.
