With the recent illnesses that we have been dealing with -- colds, croup, sinus infections and pneumonia, we have found ourselves homebound for the past month and half. What do you do when you are home for so long?...find new shows to watch on television on streaming on Netflix. :-) My girls stumbled across Dinotrux, which is in its 3rd season on Netflix, and fell in love with the show after watching the first episode. Bella even asked for Dinotrux toys and playsets for his 5th birthday back on November 10, and Nana and Papa made her day by surprising her with Reptool Rewit, Ty Rux Vehicle and her favorite character Garby.
She was so excited to have a little collection of Dinotrux toys going, and her friends she had over the other day for a little party had so much fun playing with her new Dinotrux toys the grandparents gave her, as well as a surprise box of Dinotrux toys we were sent to review for my holiday gift guide. I wish you could have saw Bella's face when she opened the box and saw the Dinotrux Rock & Load Skate Park and D-Structs and Skya toys.
She sure was one happy girl. And, for those friends who weren't aware of Dinotrux, she was quick to turn on Netflix and steam some of the episodes for them. All through the episode, she was talking about the characters and how cool they were. Poor kid kept getting shushed as her friends wanted to hear the show and not her giving a play by play. But, when the show was over, they were all loud with excitement as they played with Bella's Dinotrux toy collection.
And, when the parents came to pick up their children, I heard many of the kids talking about Dinotrux and how they have to add to their watch list on Netflix and that they wanted the toys just like Bella for Christmas. :-)

"Kids have fallen in love with Dinotrux, which is the first show of its kind. They’re also gobbling up Mattel’s toy versions of these awesome animated characters. Based on Chris Gall's children's books, the comedy action-adventure series is set in the prehistoric “Mechazoic Era” and centers around the unlikely friendship between Ty Rux, a massive Tyrannosaurus Trux, and Revvit, a tiny razor-sharp Reptool. The two form a unique team and build a community that survives earthquakes, volcanoes, and dangerous creatures -- led by D-Structs, the most feared trux of all.
Right now on Netflix you will find Season 3 of this popular show streaming. Ty, Revvit, and the rest of your kids' favorite Dinotrux team return to solve tough new challenges in an all-new epic super-sized season of DREAMWORKS DINOTRUX! Faced with even bigger threats, they'll need to recruit Drillasaurs, Cementaurs, and even Hydrodons to help defeat D-structs and his minions. Let your little reptools experience the power of teamwork and friendship with Dinotrux, now streaming on Netflix!"

I have to say after seeing the kids play with the toys and really get into the show and acting out scenes, or playing with the Rock & Load Skate Park, I can see why so many kids (and adults) love this series streaming on Netflix, and why the toys are so popular. I even found myself playing with the die cast Dinotrux toys and having fun. Who doesn't love toys with movable parts and ones that you can pull back and make go. :-)

And, as far as Dinotrux toys, you can find these at your favorite retailer like Walmart, Toys R Us, Target, as well as online at Amazon.
So, why not make that special Dinotrux fan in your life happy on Christmas day, by picking up and wrapping a handful of Dinotrux toys and playsets for them, to find under the tree. :-)
I know Bella will be happy that Santa listened to her many Dinotrux wish list requests. :-)
