Did you tune in last week and catch the new show on NBC, "Timeless"? I did, and can't stop talking about it with family and friends. I have to say out of all the new shows I have seen so far this fall, this show is my favorite!
If you haven't seen or even heard of "Timeless", check out the official trailer and background on the show...
"Timeless" which airs Monday nights at 10pm ET.
About the Show:
"From Eric Kripke ("Revolution," "Supernatural"), Shawn Ryan ("The Shield") and the producers of "The Blacklist" comes this thrilling action-adventure series in which a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, a soldier and a history professor who use the machine's prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. Can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it's too late?
The cast includes Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.
Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan serve as writers and executive producers. John Davis, John Fox, Marney Hochman and Director Neil Marshall also executive produce. "Timeless" is produced by Davis Entertainment, Kripke Enterprises and MiddKid Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television."

One reason that drew me to this show is that the bad guy Lucy and Wyatt Logan are after is none other than , who used to play Dr. Luka Kovač on the hit NBC television series ER.
Goran Visnjic as Garcia Flynn
I loved Goran Visnjic back then and love seeing him back on television in his soon to be hit show.
Another reason why I am loving this new series is the story line. Who doesn't like time travel? I know we have all wished at one point or another that we could back in time and relive a moment or even change a moment. Well, thanks to this new television series we can see what would happen if you traveled back in time. Not only would you find yourself having to dress for that particular time period as to blend in, but how your actions could possible change the outcome of present day.
In the pilot episode of Timeless we see Lucy, Wyatt Logan and Rufus Carlin board the prototype time machine as the final product one was stolen by Garcia Flynn. They travel back to when the Hindenburg crashes and have to find out why Garcia Flynn stole the time machine and why he transported himself back to this time period. What they can't do is change anything that could alter the outcome of the events as we know it in history, like trying to prevent the Hindenburg from catching fire or trying to save passengers or onlookers. But, leave it to Wyatt Logan to go against orders and try and save a popular figure in history. Don't worry, I will not ruin it if you haven't seen the episode. What I will say is that when Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt return to present day, one of them finds life as they had known it, isn't what they left it. Wonder who? Alright you are twisting my arm..... When Lucy goes back in time, her future is altered which impacts her mother and sister with a ICYMI moment at the end of the episode. Nail biter for sure. You will have to check out the pilot episode of Timeless to see what I am talking and what you missed. :-) Want to see the entire pilot episode of Timeless? You are in luck. Head on over to http://www.nbc.com/timeless/vi deo/pilot/3107275 where you can view the first episode prior to tuning in tonight at 10 PM ET, when the second episode airs.

During the phone call, Abigail answered many questions including how she prepared herself for the role of the heroine Lucy and how she related to the character. I was hoping one blogger would ask her to share details of a potential relationship between Lucy and Wyatt Logan -- you can tell from watching the first two episodes that while Wyatt Logan gets on Lucy's nerves, there could be sparks between the two...just saying. Come on, everyone loves a little romance in a television series. :-)
I could talk your ear off about the amazing woman Abigail Spencer is, and how down to earth she is. But, you will see this in how she portrays Lucy in Timeless. This is one of the main reasons I will continue to tune in. I have found another actress to watch and can't wait to see how Lucy's character and the others develop over the course of the show.
Doesn't this show look and sound great? It really is an amazing show and one that will have you tuning in each week and leave you wondering where Lucy and Wyatt Logan will be time traveling to next. If you are curious about what will happen on tonight's episode, where is a sneak peek at what you will see...
THE TEAM CAN SAVE THE LIFE OF ONE OF HISTORY’S GREATEST MEN.
"Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) chase terrorist Garcia Flynn (Goran Višnjić) to the night of Lincoln’s assassination, where they’re horrified to learn that Flynn’s linked up with history’s most notorious assassin, John Wilkes Booth (guest star Kelly Blatz).
Putting aside a tragedy of her own, Lucy speculates that Flynn intends to send the fragile nation into chaos by making a bad thing worse, and a debate rages among the team: should they alter history if it means changing it for the better? Also starring Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. Guest starring Neal Bledsoe, Michael Krebs, Terry Lewis and Lucia Frangione."

Not only was I able to participate in a group phone call interview with Abigail Spencer, the actress who plays lead character, Lucy, but I was also given the opportunity to watch the above second episode before it airs tonight, and all I have to say is this episode is not to be missed. It was even better than the pilot. :-)
So, if you are looking for a new show to tune in to each week, why not check out Timeless, which airs Monday nights on NBC at 10PM ET. You will not be disappointed! I am already giving it two thumbs up. :-)
