The panda is a symbol of friendship and peace in China, which is why China-based kids app developer, Dr. Panda, adopted the Panda as the symbol for its line of interactive games. Dr. Panda games are designed to engage children through game play focused on everyday activities in a safe and playful environment such as school, restaurant, cooking, home and now Bath Time!
Last week (Sept. 8th to be exact) the folks at Dr. Panda released their newest app for kids called Dr. Panda Bath Time. My girls and I had the opportunity to try out this fun new kids' app and had a blast trying it out. This educational app was our introduction to the Dr. Panda family. And, after trying out this app, I was quick to add the other Dr. Panda apps to my girls' iPads for them to play and learn with.
Here is more about the new app, Dr. Panda Bath Time, which is perfect for children ages 3-5 years old...
"By helping Dr. Panda’s friends clean up, children learn how to practice good hygiene and stay healthy in a fun, interactive way. The Dr. Panda characters motivate players with their fun personalities and expressive reactions. Getting clean in the bathtub or shower, washing clothes or going “potty” has never been so much fun."
Dr. Panda Bath Time is now available for download on iOS and Android platforms and offers the following key features:
- Kids learn about hygiene habits through six interactive activities.
- See the cute characters respond and express their energetic personalities!
- Brush teeth, comb hair, use the potty and don't forget to wash your hands!
- Soak, scrub, pop bubbles and much more in the bathtub!
- Hop into the shower and make sure the water temperature is right!
- Make sure your clothes are clean using the washing machine!
- Choose what to wear with tons of outfits to choose from.

Even though my girls are 4.5 and 6 years old, they both enjoyed this app. They both couldn't get enough of the cute panda bear, and loved the six interactive activities that taught personal hygiene skills like brushing your teeth, combing your hair and washing your hands.
I always screen apps before I let the girls play with them, to check for appropriate content and also be able to explain to the girls how to navigate through the app. But, after a few minutes of reviewing this new app, I was ready to pass off the iPad to the girls and let them have fun with Dr. Panda.
My girls could have spent all day playing with this app. They had a blast choosing the outfits for the clean panda bear to wear. And, when they weren't playing personal stylist, they couldn't stop giggling and smiling as they scrubbed and cleaned up the dirty panda bear. They loved getting the panda all suddsy and seeing the dirt wash away.
I wasn't sure if this app would be one the girls would play with again, but to my surprise whenever they earn iPad time, this is one app they are quick to tap and play with. And, bath time with the panda never gets out. They are always laughing as they get their panda pal clean.
Both my girls and I give this new Dr. Panda app two thumbs up. And,if you have little ones between the ages of 3-5 years old, then this app is worth checking out, as it really helps teach children about bath time and proper hygiene skills.
Not only was the content of this app great, but as a parent I love how the folks at Dr. Panda are committed to children’s safety and thus don't offer in-app purchases or third party advertisements with their apps. I can't tell you how many times I have downloaded an app for the girls to only remove a short time later as it required them to purchase additional levels for continued play, or had inappropriate advertisements pop up while the girls were using an app.
If you have been looking for fun new apps to add to your mobile devices for your little ones to play and learn with, then why not check out the new Dr. Panda Bath Time app, or any of the other fun games from Dr. Panda? Learn more about Dr. Panda and their apps available by visiting www.drpanda.com.
