If you were to ask my youngest daughter what her favorite movie is, she would say any of the Ice Age films. She is a huge fan of Scrat and cracks up each and every time she sees a short film featuring Scrat trying to catch an acorn.  She had no idea that there was a new Easter themed movie releasing recently.  So, I was excited to share it with her and Savannah as we were decorating eggs the other day and getting ready for the Easter bunny's arrival.

Have you heard about the recent release, “ICE AGE: THE GREAT EGG-SCAPADE”, which released on Digital HD back on 3/22?  If not, here is a little background on this all-new holiday movie, that is sure to be a hit with Ice Age fans of all ages...

My Thoughts:  

First, let me tell you that Bella is so excited about the upcoming ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE, which will be in theaters this summer.  You you purchase the digital HD of “ICE AGE: THE GREAT EGG-SCAPADE”, you will get a sneak peek at this upcoming Ice Age adventure.

As far as the all-new animated special, my girls and I loved it.  Come on, who doesn't love Scrat, Sid and the others?  My girls were all smiles as they saw the opening credits roll, and they didn't stop smiling until the very end, when they turned to me and asked to watch it again. We have only had the digital HD for a day, but have already watched it three times so far.  And, the girls plan to share with family and friends who come to visit for Easter.  

Even though Bella is a huge fan of Scrat, she also loves silly Sid as he calls him.  She giggled when Sid started to talk about his new job of egg sitter. And, for the duration of the movie she pretended to be Sid and sat on a toy under a pillow, pretending to be babysitting and keeping an egg warm.

If you are a fan of Ice Age and/or holiday themed animated films, then you will definitely want to purchase the digital HD of  “ICE AGE: THE GREAT EGG-SCAPADE” and share with your family this Easter.  I don't want to spoil how the egg hunt goes, but will say this movie will keep you entertained right through the credits at the end.  My girls show no signs of growing bored of this animated adventure, and I know you and yours will love it, too!
