Valentine's Day is fast approaching. Have you started to make plans yet? Maybe you go out for a nice dinner with your sweetie, or plan a weekend or just an overnight stay at a local B&B or hotel...but, whatever your plans, you only have a short time to finalize them as reservations fill up fast, as do delivery requirements, if you opt to stay home and simply send a gift like flowers to your loved one.
This special day is just like my birthday, Christmas or anniversary when it comes to my husband and gift giving. He has no idea what to get me, and would rather ask me outright, as not to disappoint. And, he always knows that flowers are always a great gift, that both I and my girls will enjoy.
Do you also like flowers? Do you have a particular local florist or online florist you use? I don't have a go-to florist. Usually I shop around for specials and deals or the best selection when I am looking to send flowers to family and friends. And, I love when a company sends an email and introduces me to a new florist, so I can note and try.
For all my Australian readers, I wanted to share a company I just found out about and should be on your radar with Valentine's Day just around the corner. Have you heard of FreshFlowers.com.au? If not, you will want to check out their site.
I found myself getting lost and dreaming about the type of bouquet my husband will be surprising me with as I told him this year to surprise. Let's see if after 15 years he knows what I like. :-)
While browsing this Australian-based online floral site, I couldn't get over the selection of Valentines Day flowers from FreshFlowers.com.au -- so much more than many online floral sites in the USA. I have a dear friend who lives in Sydney and was happy to share this site with her, too, as she was not aware of it.

Shhh, don't say anything...even though she will probably read this post...but, I am sending a little someone to say "Thinking of You, and missing you" to her. I couldn't help myself, the flowers on the site looked amazing and the price is oh so affordable, especially for the variety of flowers and deluxe floral bouquets they offer.
Want to see the types of flowers I was browsing and fell in love with? Just check out these...a few of my favorites. I tell you, if I lived in Australia these would definitely be on my wish list this Valentine's Day from my husband... :-)
