I am loving this time of year. If you haven't heard, the UP network and Hallmark Channels are already airing their holiday movies. Thanks to the time change, my girls are going to bed an hour earlier each night -- even though they are waiting an hour earlier (you can't have everything), thus giving me extra "me time" at night time to grab one of these heartwarming movies.
Even though I have already seen many of these holiday movies from Hallmark, I can still sit and watch them over and over again. Come on, who doesn't love holiday movies? They are a great way to get you in the holiday spirit. Just the other night I watched "Paper Angels" on the UP network, only to find I received the DVD the next day in the mail from the folks at Cinedigm. I thought what perfect timing, as I was going to talk to my girlfriends about the movie, and now I could share the DVD with them, so that they, too, could enjoy this heartfelt holiday flick.
For the past week, this DVD has been making its rounds at my friends' houses, and getting us all excited about Christmas and spending time with family and doing for others. My friends loved this movie and I know you will, too!
Here is more about the movie, including a trailer:
Synopsis:
"An inspirational holiday story about a child in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program who encounters the disillusioned businessman who picked his name from the tree. Starring Matthew Settle (“Gossip Girl”) & Josie Bisset (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”, “Melrose Place”)"
Disclosure: I was sent a review copy from the vendor in order to write up an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.
