The Wild Thornberrys: The Complete Series
Back when I was in college, the Wild Thornberrys premiered on television. And, from 1998 to 2004 it had a good run, entertaining both children and adults alike. I was first introduced to this show by my now husband, who loved cartoons -- let's just say he is a kid at heart. He would have me record the show he was working, in case his family had forgot to record it. And, when he would come over for dinner, he would watch it. I found myself sitting down to watch this show, and could see why so many people, young and old, were tuning it to watch the show. Were you a fan of the show? Or, do you have children who caught reruns of the show, which aired on NickToons and CBS from 2002-2007?
If you or your child is a fan of the show, I have some great news for you. Thanks to the folks at Shout! Factory, now you can own the complete series with the new 11-DVD box set. :-) I will give you time to jump around and squeal with excitement. :-) While my husband didn't do this, I knew he was on the inside, as he had a big grin when I showed him The Wild Thornberrys box set the other day.
My husband was so excited to be able to watch some of his favorite episodes as well as ones he doesn't really remember, while also being able to introduce a show from his past with our girls. Out of the two girls, Savannah, has shown more interest and has sat down to watch a few of the DVDs with my husband. He was trying to do a marathon of shorts, but once the Christmas DVDs started rolling in, the girls opted for these instead. Sorry, hun!
