My girls couldn't wait to watch the two DVDs that make up this new Dora the Explorer: Whirl and Twirl Collection, as she is doing ballet and gymnastics, two sports both of my girls love to do.  :-)  Both DVDs include a total of 7 already aired full-length episodes, that fans of the show will not mind watching over and again.  

When my girls sat down to start watching this new 2-DVD collection, they asked to watch the Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure DVD first.  This DVD contains the following episodes:

• Dora’s Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure                
• A Ribbon for Pinto                      
• Swiper's Favorite Things  

Both of my girls agreed that the "Swiper's Favorite Things" episode was their favorite, as they love saying, "Swiper, No Swiping" and "Oh, Man!" :-)  A close second as the ribbon episode, that had them grabbing their pink gymnastics ribbon sticks and spinning and twirling all around the living room, acting out scenes from the episode.  You don't have to be a Dora the Explorer fan to enjoy these three gymnastic themed episodes.  They make gymnastics look so fun and will have your little ones whirling and twirling around and practicing their gymnastics skills after watching the three full-length episodes.

After the girls watched the three gymnastics episodes that make the Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure DVD, they asked to watch the Dora The Explorer: Dora’s Ballet Adventures, which to their surprise contained 4 full-length episodes, all about ballet and and dancing.  Curios to know the episodes that are included on this DVD?  They are as follows:

• Dora's Ballet Adventure                
• Dora, La Músico               
• The Super Silly Fiesta                    
• Surprise

Each of the above ballet themed episodes will have your little Dora the Explorer wanting to put on their tutus and ballet costumes and twirl around the room.  My girls had a blast watching all four episodes, especially The Super Silly Fiesta episode, which we have seen a handful of times so far, and that my youngest can recite the dialogue to. :-)

Overall, I have to say that this new 2-DVD collection is a hit with my two girls, and came at just the right time, as it can be enjoyed at home or on the go, and will have the girls getting up and moving about, each and every time they watch either the ballet or gymnastic episodes, that make up this collection.
