Max & Ruby: Sharing & Caring -- Available Now on DVD (Review)

IF ANY BUNNY KNOWS ABOUT KINDNESS AND TEAMWORK,
IT’S MAX & RUBY IN THIS BRAND NEW COLLECTION

This is one Nick Jr. show that my girls can sit down and watch together, without fighting over which episode to watch or who can watch something next, as they are both huge Max & Ruby fans.  And, I as a parent, love this preschool animated series, which is great in showing how siblings can get along and work together, while being respective of one another.

This new DVD release is made up of the following full-length episodes, which have already aired on television:
  • Picture Perfect/ Detective Ruby/ Superbunny Saves the Cake
  • Max’s Ride/ Max on Guard/ Ruby’s Real Tea Party
  • The Bunny Who Cried Lobster/ Max and the Three Bears/ Little Ruby Hen
  • Ruby's Autograph/ A Toy for Baby Huffington/ Max's Big Dig
In total there are 12 episodes, which will not only entertain little ones, but also teach them important life lessons including, sharing, being considerate of others, working together, the importance of family and even about kindness and listening.

Out of all the Nick Jr. shows my girls watch each morning, I have to say that this is one I will stop what I am doing and sit and watch with the girls.  Not only is the theme song catchy, but I love watching the girls sit together and watch the show and then turn and talk to one another about it. Then, usually after they are done watching it, they will grab their Max and Ruby plush toys and act out scenes from the show.  Who knew that an animated series like this could strengthen the bond between the siblings and help them resolve differences and be supportive of one another, just like Max and Ruby.

If you have preschoolers who are not familiar with this popular animated series, I highly recommend you pick up this new release and/or start watching this series, which airs daily on Nick Jr.  Both fun and educational, you will see why it is one of my girls' favorite shows to watch.
