Now that summer is here, do you have any big plans? Going away for vacation, or having family or friends come and stay? We will be staying around this summer, partly because the girls are still young and are not the best travel companions for long trips..."Are we there yet?," "Can we do something else?" I know I just went potty, but I have to go again", etc., and, also because our youngest recently started to get car sick when we travel longer than 30 minutes away. We learned this the hard way Father's Day weekend when we tried to go to an amusement park here in CT, and she got sick halfway down and then again at the same location, on the way back -- both times while sitting in her car seat in the back seat. So much for my clean car. :-(
Even though we are staying local, we will be doing fun day trips to local farms, attractions, etc.. And, in two weeks we will begin our summer B&B, as I like to call it, when family and friends come to celebrate Savannah's birthday, and then throughout the months of July and August, we will see family and friends come for mini vacations to spend time with the girls, celebrate the summer with backyard BBQ and pool time, and nightly s'mores, games and great conversation. Summer is such an amazing time of the year, and is so worth dealing with the long, cold winters, as I know many summer memories will be made at our home.
As I prepare for our big upcoming 4th of July cookout/pool party, followed shortly thereafter with Savannah's 5th birthday, etc., I have been busy making lists of things to pick, so that I will not be running around like crazy once our house starts filling up with guests. Top on my list is toilet paper. You know, you can't have enough on hand, and this is one paper product you don't want to run out of, especially when you have a house full of guests and four bathrooms.
During the summer, I find myself stocking up on more toilet paper as there is so many people visiting, that we go through a lot. What is my choice in toilet paper? I don't know about you, but when it comes to toilet paper I am especially picky. I like a nice soft toilet paper, that is also absorbent and durable. Through the years I have tried out different brands, but I have come to trust Charmin.
Out here in the country we have septic and have to make sure what we flush will not damage our septic system. Next to running out of toilet paper, the last thing I want to have to deal with is septic issues. Being a fan of Charmin Ultra Soft, I especially love how it is 75% more absorbent, which means you use up to 4X less.
When stocking up on toilet paper for summer, I don't I have the extra space for oversized toilet paper packages, so I like how Charmin offers 6 double rolls, which equals 12 regular rolls -- this means smaller packaging and less space that I have to free up to store toilet paper. :-) They now offer a mega roll, making your toilet paper roll last even longer. :-)
Getting back to being clog and septic free. If you don't buy Charmin on a regular basis, or have never tried this toilet paper, then you probably don't know about their clog-free guarantee. Yes, you read that right -- clog-free guarantee. What does this mean? Each and every time you reach for Charmin toilet paper when in the bathroom, you can be assured that your plumbing with run smoothly, as this toilet paper is clog and septic safe. Just be sure you don't go crazy filling the bowl with toilet paper like my girls try to do. :-)
And, you know Roto-Rooter, America's largest provider of plumbing and drain services? They are fans of Charmin like I am, and give their stamp of approval on this clog-free and septic-safe toilet paper (now going on their second year of partnership). If you find yourself having to call Roto Rooter and don't use Charmin, don't be surprised when the plumber recommends Charmin more than any other brand.
They don't just give a stamp of approval or partner with just anybody. And, you will not find other brands talking about a clog-free and septic-safe guarantee -- this only comes with Charmin! So, you would crazy to reach for another toilet paper brand when stocking up.
While we wait for family and friends to arrive in the coming weeks, our house is staying full with the girls' friends and neighborhood kids coming over to play (and stay) each day. It reminds me of when I was growing up and our house was filled with my brothers and my friends...usually leading to extra guests at dinner and last minute sleepovers. Isn't that what summer is all about? -- Enjoying time with family and friends and making the most of summer vacation and no school. My girls are loving it, and so am I! :-)
And, thanks to Charmin my guests will be greeted with soft toilet paper when they need to use the bathroom, and my septic system will thank me. No clogged toilets here! You can be saying the same thing when you stock up on Charmin and fill your bathroom(s) with this ultra absorbent and clog and septic safe toilet paper, too! Come on...the last thing you want to worry about when you have a house full of guests is where the plunger is or trying to find a plumber to come out and fix the toilet.

I love Charmin! When money was tight a couple months ago, I did purchase a cheaper toilet paper...and I have to say it was not soft! We also have one time the toilet clogged.....and since then I went back to Charmin!
