Just the other day, I received a package in the mail, which I was excited to get. It was filled with a sampling of Hallmark's Mother's Day greeting cards (which included new designs from the Signature and Shoebox collection) for review -- read on to learn how you can enter to win a 5-pack pack to share with your mom and special women in your life.
I don't know about you, but I still love going to the card store to browse the greeting card collection, to find just the right card to give family and friends for their birthday, to celebrate a milestone or holiday, or just because. In a day and age where people are quick to text or post to someone's social media page when it comes to sending well wishes, I guess I am still old school in that I love to write a personal message on a card and mail out. There is something about going to the mailbox and finding a greeting card in the mail, mixed in amongst the junk mail and bills, that always brightens up your day and makes you smile, as you know someone dear to you is thinking about and took the time to find a card and mail it to you.
Leave it to the folks at Hallmark to offer a wonderful selection of cards for Mother's Day that will either pull at your heartstrings with the sentimental messages, or make you giggle with the fun Shoebox collection cards.
Here are the cards that I was sent...
While I am not expecting a child, I have close friends and family who are (some for the first time), so I was happy to see the Mother's Day card for an expectant mom.
We oftentimes overlook pregnant moms who don't already have children, when Mother's Day rolls around -- but, they are moms -- they just can't cradle their bundles of joy in their arms just yet.
So, this card in particulate would be great to send that expectant mom in your life. They will not expect it, and it will definitely make them smile, as they rub their belly and dream of the day that get to hold their precious child.
Having a mother-in-law who is Spanish-speaking, I was happy to see that Hallmark also includes a wonderful selection of Mother's Day greeting cards in Espanol including this one that my husband will be sending to his mom..
When it comes to choosing a Mother's Day card for my mom, I love to pick up a couple to send. First, I get her a sentimental one to remind me of how much I love and appreciate her. Then, i like to find a funny card that will make her laugh. So, when I saw this card in the sampling that the kind folks at Hallmark sent my way, I knew that his would be the perfect one for her.
If you are still in need of the perfect greeting card for your mom, why not visit your local Hallmark store and check their new designs from their popular Signature and Shoebox collections, including the cards I was sent. Make it a point to find one that really speaks to the heart and sums up how you feel about your mom. I have learned from my cancer journey that you can't take life for granted and need to make a point to tell those you love just how much they mean to you. And, what better way this Mother's Day than with a card (or two) from Hallmark.
