Well my girls experienced another first recently...Twinkies from Hostess.  Yes, you read that right.  :-)  I was sent a box of Twinkies to review, as part of a promotion with the new Penguins of Madagascar movie and the Twinkies boxes being branded with the movie characters on it.  

In addition to the limited time Penguins of Madagascar Twinkies boxes, there is also a fun new app from Bully! Entertainment called Hostess Hoops that you must check out.

I knew my girls would love this app for many reasons.  First, as soon as I showed them the Twinkies box for the first time, they both fell in love with Twinkie the Kid.  Savannah kept telling me he was so cute and liked his cowboy get up.  If that wasn't enough, the girls are also huge fans of the Penguins of Madagascar movies.  So, when they saw that this new app had both Twinkie the Kid and the favorite penguin characters from the movie, they couldn't wait to play.  Unlike most games that I download for the girls, this app was easy to learn.  Within a matter of minutes the girls had the game down and were off and running on their own.  

Savannah and Bella have been having so much playing the new Hostess Hoops game and seeing who can sink the most baskets.  They have also learned how to scan the Twinkies box and other Hostess products we have in the house for power ups for this game, which makes for a more interesting game.  And, while we haven't won any coupons yet for Hostess products, we are holding out hope as the girls continue to play and beat their previous high scores each and every time. :-)

As for the Twinkies samples we were sent, let's just say Hostess can add two more fans to their product offering, thanks to their Twinkies. 

I loved watching the girls play around with the Twinkies for the first time, as they didn't know what they were.
