Thanks to my husband and my youngest nephew, my girls are into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, both the movie that was in theaters, as well as the hit animated series which airs daily on Nickelodeon. So, when they saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Retreat arrive at our doorstep, they were over the moon excited and were on their best behavior for the day, in hopes that they would be able to watch one of the seven episodes that are included on this recent DVD release, that make up the first half of season 7. In addition to the 7 full-length episodes, you will also find cool behind-the-scenes look at how each of the episodes were made.
I grew up during the time that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was taking the movie, toy and comic book series by storm. I loved the turtles then, and have to say I still love them now. :-) The girls and my husband have been having a blast reliving some of their favorite scenes and story lines from season 3 of the animated series, and have been catching me up to speed as I was not a following until now of the animated series. :-)
If you have children/grandchildren who can't get enough of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, including the animated hit television series on Nickelodeon and are still looking for something to fill their Easter basket with, why not pick up a copy of this recently released DVD? Turtles fans will go crazy for this DVD, just like my girls and husband did, and it will be enjoyed over and over again.
