“One of television's best shows.“ – Hollywood.com
“Nickelodeon’s ‘Korra’ is a fighter for the ages.” – New York Daily News
This is a follow up to the popular and much talked about Avatar: The Last Airbender, which bring the Nickelodeon series, The Legend of Korra to an end. I have shared past review of the previous books (just do a search for Inspired by Savannah and The Legend of Korra to find). While some people have tried to compare this series to the Last Airbender movie, it really is a unique series an one to appreciate on its one without comparing. Yes, both have avatar fighting to keep peace in the worlds, but I have to say that The Legend of Korra, in my eyes, has a better story line and one that really pulls you in. And, if you are into Japanese Anime like I am, then you will love the animations and sequences in this hit animated series.
While this series airs on Nickeledeon, I would recommend for older audiences due to the storylines which include a romance, fighting, etc. Adults who were fans of The Last Airbender have been watching this series, which is made up of 4 books. In this final season, we the explore the rise of Kuvira as dictator as well as attempts from those trying to bring her down. This all culmanates to the showdown between Korra and Kuvira. Don't worry, I will not ruin the ending for you in case you haven't seen it yet. But, I will say that this book is my favorite and will have you glued to the screen to see what happens.
I highly recommend The Legend of Korra: Book 4: Balance for fans of this series, to round of their DVD collection of this 4 part series.
