If you have gone shopping lately, then you have probably seen the Easter and even summer products filling up store shelves. While it is hard to imagine spring, flowers, and even the Easter bunny hopping around leaving eggs in the backyard for the kids, as there is over 4 ft. of snow in our backyard, the kids and I can't help but getting excited about spring and the holidays, thanks in part to the recent release, Nickelodeon Favorites: Springtime Adventures on DVD. With over 2 hours of everyone's favorite Nickelodeon shows including the new hit series, WALLYKAZAM!, your kids will have a blast watching some of their favorite already aired episodes over and over again, as they, too, get excited about spring.
Right now, you can pick up this recent DVD release from Amazon for only $9.99, which to me is a steal for what you get -- over 2 hours of full length episodes, that kids will watch time and again. I personally love when DVDs like this are released, as they offer up an assortment of Nickelodeon favorites and it prevents my girls from fighting over who gets to watch what. Instead, they will sit and watch each and every episode, and talk amongst themselves afterwards about which ones they want to watch again.
We have only had this DVD for about a week, but we have already watched it half a dozen times both at home, and in the car, while running errands or on the way to drop Savannah off at school. I love hearing the girls get excited when a new episode begins playing, and the girls chime in and start singing the catchy theme songs. Right now, both of my girls are huge WALLYKAZAM! fans, so they were excited to see "Picnic: Impossible" on this new release. They are hoping for more WALLYKAZAM! DVDs to release, but in the meantime are enjoying watching this and other springtime themed episodes from some of their favorite Nickelodeon shows, including Team Umizoomi, Wonder Pets, Blue's Clue's and even Bubble Guppies.
If you have a preschooler or even toddler in your house who loves Nickelodeon and can't get enough of any of the above hit animated shows, then you will want to make a point to pick up this recent DVD release for them. And, with Easter fast approaching, Nickelodeon Favorites: Springtime Adventures would make for a great Easter basket stuffer, or to share a few days leading up to Easter, to get your kids excited about egg hunt, springtime, etc. :-)
