Care Bears Fans Take Note -- New to DVD...Care Bears: Share Your Care (Review)

With my girls so close in age, only 15 months apart, I thought it would be easier when it comes to them playing together and sharing.  Boy, was I young.  Never did I think I would be buying duplicate toys so that they wouldn't share and giving them separate rooms, so that they wouldn't fight about who gets what space in a shared room.  And, now that they are 3 and 4 yrs. old, its seems like I am dealing with the terrible 3's and 4's, with two bossy little ladies.  I am not alone, as I keep hearing from friends and family with children close in age, that they are or have gone through the same phrases.  Ugh.  Like they say, this to shall pass.  For now I will just grin and bear it, and wait for the girls to wake up and me all lovey dovey again. :-)

But, in the meantime, as I wait patiently, I have been using books and videos to help teach them about sharing, working together, and loving one another, when they just seem want to go at it with one another.  One recent DVD that seems to be working wonders and that they both love to watch together is Care Bears: Share Your Care.  

Were you a fan of Care Bears growing up?  I sure was, and was excited when I started looking for DVDs to share with the girls and found that these lovable bears are still around.  :-)  This is one DVD I have been enjoying watching alongside the girls, as it lets me relieve my childhood and remember back to when I used to play with my Care Bears.

When you pick up this recent DVD release, which arrived in stores last Tuesday, you will find that it includes three full-length episodes to delight both young and old Care Bears fans.  The themes of friendship, sharing and caring and teamwork are present in each episode, and make for a great talking point or reinforce tool after viewing with your kids.  Like I said, I have been using these episodes to help teach the girls about sharing and getting along, and this DVD really has helped to make them understand and work on their sibling issues.
