My Thoughts:
Thanks to a recent Tom and Jerry DVD I was sent over the holidays, my girls are now hooked on this classic cartoon series, which I loved watching growing up. :-) While I enjoy watching their cartoons and animated television shows with them, it is nice every once in awhile to catch classic cartoons from my generation, and watch the girls react and laugh along. It is also nice to see shows of my childhood being re-introduced to newer generations.
This upcoming DVD is filled with an amazing assortment of full-length episodes that will put a smile on any Tom and Jerry fan, young or old. With 13 episodes in total, we have been busy watching each and every one to assist in my review -- shhh, not really, but it was nice to have the girls watch the episodes snuggled up on the couch, and then tell me their favorite ones and favorite scenes. I, for one, found it hard to narrow down a favorite, as they are all full of cat and mouse antics that fans of this television (old and new one). And, it is nice to see Spike getting air time, too!
If you or your child is a fan of The Tom and Jerry Show, then this is one DVD you will want to pick up to add to your growing collection. We have only had this DVD for a short time, but have managed to watch all the episodes a couple of times each...and, the girls keep asking for more! :-)
