In addition to checking out Pinterest every day for unique crafts to do with the girls, or recipes to try, I have found another guilty pleasure -- Kickstarter.  Having started my blog back in 2009 as a mommy inventor/entrepreneur, and then sharing other mom and dad entrepreneur stories on my blog through my Spotlight Mom and Dad features, I am always looking for cool, new inventions or ideas that people are trying to get funded and bring to market.  This is why I love Kickstarter so much, and find myself losing track of time browsing through the different projects in need of funding.

Tonight, while getting in the mind set to write a few blog posts, I found myself checking out Kickstarter.  This is when I stumbled across the PawdPet, a smartphone and tablet holder for kids.  While I have seen similar holders on the market to house your iPad, phone or tablet, I have to say that these ones really won me over with their cuteness.  

I know two girls in my house who would love to use these when using our phones and tablets to play with their apps.  But, do you know why I love this product so much?  It was invented by a mom! Yeah, mom inventors/entrepreneurs.  :-)

How did the PawdPet plush tech holder idea come about?  Out of necessity -- like so many other inventions I have shared with you through my Spotlight Mom and Dad posts. :-)

Please share this Kickstarter project with family and friends, who have kids, especially little ones, who use their tech devices.  I have personally experienced our iPad screen and cell phone screens cracking as a result of our girls dropping them by accident.  If only we had our devices protected with these cute plush tech holders.  This is one investment that will save you $$$ in having to replace or repair your broken devices, as well as piece of mind when you hand off your tablet or phone to your child.
