‘TIS THE SEASON WITH HALLMARK CHANNEL

Four Hallmark Original Christmas-Themed Films Arriving On DVD and Rental
This November Just Days After TV Premiere

Have you been watching the Hallmark Channel and their holiday movies?  Nightly Christmas movies started airing on Halloween night and will be playing right up until Christmas.  I just love the assortment of movies Hallmark Channel plays and have been recording and watching the movies when I find free time, usually late into the evening. Yes, some of the movies are sappy and will make me cry at the drop of a hat, but you can't help but smile at the end of each when they end with a happily ever after.  Come on, this is what you have come to expect from Hallmark movies and they never disappoint, especially with their wonderful selection of holiday movies.   This year, in addition to airing new movies on Hallmark Channel, as well as classics you have seen in years past, the folks at Cinedigm are also releasing these movies on DVDs so that you can pick up and add to your growing holiday movie collection. :-)

Recently, Hallmark Channel aired "Nine Lives of Christmas" which is perfect for dog lovers, as well as "A Cookie Cutter Christmas" which I missed when it aired back on November 8th, but was able to watch this afternoon while the girls were napping.  I loved "A Cookie Cutter Christmas" and can't stop raving about it to my mom and girlfriends, who had missed it. Thankfully, these two Hallmark Channel movies arrived on DVD on November 11th (Tuesday), and I have review copies of, so I will be hosting a wrapping party at my house after Thanksgiving and will be sharing these two holiday movies with them, as well as two other, which will also be airing on the Hallmark Channel before they, too, release to DVD -- "A Royal Christmas" starring Jane Seymour and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered Christmas"  These two movies will arrive on DVD and digital HD on November 25th, so be on the lookout for them as you gear up to start your holiday shopping.

I will be watching these two upcoming Hallmark Channel movies with my husband this weekend.  Usually he is not into these types of movies, but after watching sports the past few weekends, he owes me. :-)

Do you have a favorite Hallmark Channel holiday movie that you have watched in years past, or recently?  I would love to hear about it, so be sure to leave a comment with the movie.  I love checking out movies that I may have missed, especially when they are heartwarming Hallmark ones.  :-)
