Holiday Gift Guide -- Fans of Hello Kitty Will Love the Bluetooth Portable Speaker from Sakar (Review)

You know how they say "you are still a kid at heart"?  Well, that is true when it comes to toys for both my husband and I.  We love to get down on the floor with the girls and play with their toys, or pretend alongside them.  My favorite toys are those are still around to this day, that were my favorite growing up.  One character in particular that comes to mind in Hello Kitty.  

Were you a fan of Hello Kitty growing up?  I remember one of my first comic books I bought was a Hello Kitty one, and that every time I would visit Chinatown in Boston, I would pick up Hello Kitty memorabilia.  I still have a plush Hello Kitty toy I bought with my allowance money when I was little, that my mom saved for me.  Out of my two girls, Savannah is the cat lover, and quickly fell in love with all things Hello Kitty when she saw this cat in stores a couple of years ago. And, from that point onward, she, like I used to do as a child, will keep an eye out for Hello Kitty stuff whenever we are out and about, and ask for it.

I have shared time and again on my blog how today's youth and generations are connected.  My girls started to use our iPads and phones back when they were 1 1/2 and 2 years old.  And, now, they have their own tablets and electronic devices, as well as a portable DVD for the car.  Oh, how I wish I had a portable DVD for the car growing up, as it would have made car rides with my two brothers more bearable, as we only had one walkman and headphones that came apart so that two people could listen in one ear. :-)

As soon as Savannah saw the Hello Kitty Portable Speaker, she was in love and couldn't wait to try it out.  We have a couple other portable speakers, but after trying this one from Sakar out, have to say that the others are subpar.  With up to 5 hours of playtime and a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery, this Bluetooth speaker is perfect for fans, both young and old, of Hello Kitty.
