One of my favorite things about the holidays is when my family's favorite restaurants offer coupon books for purchase to give to little ones or use to get savings on foods you would normally buy when looking for an on-the-go or last minute meal.  Of these stores, I especially love Halloween time as Wendy's offers a Jr. Frosty™ Halloween Coupon Book* for $1, while supplies last (available through October 31, 2014).  

Depending on your local participating Wendy's, your coupon book may contain coupons for 5 or 10 free Jr. Frosty™ treats. Here is Putnam, CT, I was able to pick up coupon books that had 10 FREE Jr. Frosty coupons in them, this past weekend.

In addition to picking up a couple of coupon books for my girls, and using the coupons as rewards for when they are behaving, I also pick up additional Jr. Frosty™ Halloween Coupon Books to hand out to the neighborhood children on Halloween night, in place of candy.  And, this year, I will also be sending in 20 coupon books with Savannah when her pre-school class has their Halloween party.  In addition to the candy bags I am making up, I will stuff one Jr. Frosty™ Halloween Coupon Book in each bag, so that her friends can enjoy a tasty Jr. frosty over the next couple of months. :-)

Have you purchased the Jr. Frosty™ Halloween Coupon Books from your local participating in the past?  If so, what creative ways did you use them? In addition to using the Jr. Frosty™ Halloween Coupon Books in place of Halloween candy for the trick-or-treaters, I also ended up adding a coupon book to the party favor bags at Bella's birthday party last year.  I loved seeing the little ones get excited about the FREE Frosty's, as like my family, they, too, love this tasty treat. :-) Come on, how can you resist a chocolate or vanilla frosty from Wendy's. I lost track of how many times over the summer we stopped into our local Wendy's to pick up a Frosty in a waffle cone.  Ahh, I am getting hungry just thinking about it.  All I know is that every Friday night became Wendy's Frosty night in our house?  :-)
