See the Southeast Like You Have Never Seen It Before -- Aerial America: Southeast Collection, Now on Blu-ray (Review)

Take off for a first-class, window-seat view of the South’s most-beautiful sceneries in Aerial America: Southeast Collection

Have you ever watched a movie or saw a commerical and wish you could drop everything and head to that destination for fun in the sun?  Well, that happened to my husband and I this past weekend when we sat down to watch Aerial America: Southeast Collection, which aired previously on the Smithsonian Channel. As the title says, this was a n ariel look of some of the most beautiful and serene location in the Southeast, which included the Carolinas, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and even Florida.  From prestine beaches and shorelines to seeing Civil War battlefields and where the cival rights movement began.  If you enjoy seeing places from another viewpoint, then you will love watching this new release, which is available now on Blu-ray from Inception Media Group.

The name of my blog is Inspired by Savannah and we named our first daughter, Savannah.  The reason for the name "Savannah" is that we fell in love with Savannah, GA years ago when vacation there and the Carolina's.  Not only did the real Southern cooking hit the spot, but the gorgeous garden and parks, row houses and beaches had us returning a couple times a year.  And, we agreed that when we had children, if it was a girl, we would name her "Savannah."  So, as you can imagine when we saw aerial shots of Georgia, we were swept back to when we used to vacation and travel from Atlanta to Savannah.  Oh how my husband and I wished we could go back and stay even just for a weekend in Savannah.  Right now, however, the girls are too small, and I don't want to deal with the hassle of flying with them and lugging their carseats around.  So, we will have to wait a few more years until they get older, until we can bring them to Savannah and show them how our daughter got her name. :-)

Aerial America: Southeast Collection is presented in widescreen with an aspect ratio of 16 x 9 (1.78:1) and 5.1 digital surround sound.
