Available to Own on August 5th

My girls have been having a blast watching the new VeggieTales movie, "Celery Night Fever".  Not only is the story cute to watch, but when you hear the groovy music, you can't help but get up and dance around. :-)  And, who doesn't like an impromptu dance party in the living room, showing off your slick dance moves...especially when you don't have any rhythm like me. :-)

Fans of VeggieTales movies will enjoy this new release, which teaches children about looking past your differences and working together for the common good.  It also talks about the importance of friendship and forgiveness, just as God forgives us. In this instance, Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus (got to love their names) help to reunite a band who has broken up and doesn't see eye to eye, the "Groovy Brothers."  If the Groovy Brothers can come together and put on a concert, then Celery Park has a chance of being saved.  But, that can only happen if the group's reunion happens, as it will bring out the crowd needed to restore the park.

I have been a fan for years of VeggieTales, when I started watching the movies with my niece and nephew.  Now, I get to enjoy it with my girls, too, and love the positive messages and lessons shared with kids.  Kids of all ages will understand these messages, and will love having a discussion with you after the movie to talk about what they learned and how this can be applied to their life.

So, if you are looking for a family-friendly to share with your kids soon, and love VeggieTales, then you will want to check out "Celery Night Fever" when it arrives in stores on August 5th.  :-)  And, make sure you have your dancing shoes on, as you will find yourself wanting to get up and move and groove around to the music. :-)

Synopsis:

"When Bruce Onion, a real estate tycoon, comes to town, he’s got great plans to tear down the old, run-down Celery Park to make way for a parking lot. But this park was once a center of community for the town. The kids pull together to restore the park but need something big to draw the attention and help from the town — a reunion concert!

Can a little girl bring about the long awaited reunion of The Groovy Brothers? And can these estranged band members and long-lost friends learn the power of forgiveness?

With seven all-new songs and a chance at a Groovy Brothers reunion, Celery Night Fever will inspire your boogie-est dance moves, and leave you coming back for more."
