Bubble Guppies: Get Ready For School! Available TODAY on DVD (Review)

Are your kids looking forward to returning back to school soon?  Maybe you have a child who will be starting preschool or Kindergarten and they are shows normal signs of being nervous and shared of the first day of school.  Jitters are expected, especially for young children.  But, you can help ease their nerves not only by talking to them about school and how much fun they will have, but, also reassuring them that they are not alone in feeling this way, and that other children are also nervous about the first day, too, In addition, the new Bubble Guppies: Get Ready for School" DVD, which released today on DVD is also a great accompaniment to your talks, as it offers up 6 full length episodes from this popular animated series that airs daily on Nick Jr., which will get kids excited about school.  From learning about new things like the solar system, to prepping for the first day of school, including getting a hair cut, finding misplaced items that you will need to start school with and a wonderful episode that teaches kids the ropes about school, especially if they are a new student.

My girls love this new DVD, and it is helping to calm Savannah's nerves, who will start part time preschool in the fall.  And, she loved finding the Bubble Guppies pencil case, which is included with this new DVD, and has already filled it with pencils,erasers, etc. and put in her backpack.

Oona’s worried about her little friend, Avi! It’s his first day of school and he’s nervous. From cubbies to free play, the Guppies show viewers the ropes and teach them about school.
 
Good Morning, Mr. Grumpfish!
The Bubble Guppies have a substitute teacher, Mr. Grumpfish, and he doesn’t seem to like anything! It’ll take a lot for the kids to convince Mr. Grumpfish that their favorite things are worth singing about!
 
Good Hair Day!
Gil’s hair grew really long and he better get it cut soon, because today is Picture Day. But when Gil arrives at the hair salon, he sees that everyone in town wants to get haircuts, too! Watch and discover if Molly and the Guppies can work together to help a busy hairdresser give everybody fabulous new ‘dos in time for the photo.

Gil lost his library card while returning his favorite books to the library. Gil and his Guppy friends will have to dive into all of Gil’s favorite books to find it again.
