This past Tuesday the folks at the Hub Network did another one of their Hubbub chats. This time, they talked with “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” star Tara Strong (voice of Twilight Sparkle, “Rugrats”) and co-executive producer and story editor Meghan McCarthy (“Fish Hooks”) -- scroll down to watch the chat. I was so bummed that I missed this chat, not only because I am a huge My Little Pony fan (yes, even today), but also because the video since loaded to YouTube has more views than any other Hubbub, and there was tons of fan engagement. :-)
I have shared countless times how my girls are My Little Pony fans. You can't walk into our house, without tripping over a MLP pony, or seeing Savannah walking around with one of her Build-A-Bear My Little Pony plush or another MLP toy. Oh, and don't get me started on the girls' growing collection of MLP apparel. From t-shirt and sweatshirts to pajamas and even a new MLP swimsuit for this summer, the girls are always reaching for Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, or the other MLP character shirts to wear for the day.
And, the end of this month, the girls will be going to the Hartford ComicCon, where they will get to meet some of the people who draw the ponies. Savannah is counting down the days, as Daddy promised he would buy her a picture. :-)
But, as we wait to meet these amazing artists, the girls are gearing up for the Season 4 finale episode of “My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic”, which will air on the Hub Network, this Saturday, May 10th at 10AM ET.
"The Hub Network’s popular animated series, “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic,” from Hasbro Studios, has its fourth season finale on Saturday, May 10, with two all-new, back-to-back episodes, “Twilight’s Kingdom – Part 1” and “Twilight’s Kingdom – Part 2,” starting at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT on the Hub Network, champions of family fun and the only network dedicated to providing kids and their families entertainment they can watch together. Leading up to the season finale, the network will air a marathon of special episodes from season four starting at 7:30 a.m. ET/4:30 a.m. PT. These episodes highlight a magical journey for Twilight and her friends that continue into the season finale. In addition, on April 28, a new My Little Pony game, “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Rainbow Falls Flight School” will launch on HubNetwork.com, providing fans fresh digital content to enjoy before the exciting finale. There will also be monthly updates to the wildly popular “Equestrivia Challenge,” starting May 1.
The Hub Network’s fourth season of “My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic” will culminate with an amazing adventure during its two-part finale in which Princess Twilight Sparkle continues to struggle with her identity as a princess and her role as the newest member of Equestrian royalty. When Princess Celestia has a premonition about a mysterious evil foe from the past and turns to an unlikely source for help, Twilight Sparkle feels extra pressure to prove her worth.
In hopes that it will provide some insight as to the kind of princess she is meant to be, Twilight Sparkle focuses her attention on opening the chest that was given to her by the Tree of Harmony. Secrets are revealed and mysteries are unraveled as all of Equestria joins forces to stop this new threat."

Fans of the show will definitely want to tune in and watch this two-part season finale, as it is not to be missed. The secrets revealed, and the ponies will band together to stop a new threat to Equestria.
I was the coolest mom the other day as I was sent a screener copy of the season finale. This was the only time all week that the girls listened and behaved, as they knew if they did, they would get to watch this un-aired episodes. I will not lie, I couldn't wait to watch these episodes, and found myself on the edge of the couch as the different mysteries were unraveled. Leave it season finale episodes like these to answer questions you have been wondering about all season, while also leaving your hanging for another season -- Season 5 get here already. :-)
While you wait with your child to watch the two all-new, back-to-back episodes this Saturday, “Twilight’s Kingdom – Part 1” and “Twilight’s Kingdom – Part 2,” starting at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT, please enjoy the new “Hub Network’s What’s the Hubbub?” which took place on May 6 and showcased“My Little Pony Friendship is Magic”...
