My Thoughts:
What is one thing you can't live without? Next to chocolate, I would have to say music. And, while I can't carry a tune to say my life, music has always been there through the good and bad times, and always seems to brighten my spirits. So, I was excited to hear that the folks at NOW That's What I Call Music, was releasing a 50th volume. Not only can I not believe that they have been around long enough to turn out 50 great chart-topping CDs, but that I have collected and continue to listen to all of them, including this new CD release, which I was sent last week to review.
I was sent the deluxe edition, which contains 2 CDs, which includes the 21 hit tracks found on the stands CD release, in addition to 14 additional tracks voted on by fans of this best-selling series. I had voted on a handful of the bonus tracks and was happy to see them make list.
And, this past weekend, while out and about with the family, I couldn't help but bring this 2-CD release along for the ride. Everyone in the car, including the girls were singing and bopping along the to the songs.
What I love about this and other CDs in this popular music album series is that each CD contains chart topping hits, so you will not find yourself wondering who sings this song or forwarding through to another song. Each and every song is worth listening to, countless times! Artists included on these CDs in pop stars, rock artists, country music crooners and other music genres. You really can't find this vast array of musical talent on any other CD out there.
The folks at NOW That's What I Call Music! know what is popular and what songs fans will want to listen to, and never disappoint. And, they have another winner on their hands with this new 50th Volume release. If your mom is anything like me, and loves music, then they will be happy to receive the CD to listen to in the car, or the digital download to their iPhone, iPod or other mobile device. These songs always give me extra to push on when exercising and turn long, boring road trips into fun sing-alongs that the whole family gets excited for.
Fans of NOW That's What I Call Music! will not want to miss the release of the 50th volume when it arrives in stores on Tuesday, May 6th. So, either pre-order the CD or digital download today and get ready to turn your radio up as you enjoy hits from the likes of Pharrell Williams singing, "Happy" to Katy Perry w/ Juicy J with Dark Horse, as well as my personal favorites "Team" by Lordes, "All of Me" by John Legend and "Let Her Go" by Passenger.
I can't wait to hear what you think of this new CD release from NOW That's What I Call Music! after you get done listening to it a few times, after it arrives in stores Tuesday.
Disclosure: I was sent a review copy from the vendor in order to write up an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.
I just found your blog today, and have to say I love it. I like the Now Music CD's because they have so many great songs on it for a great deal. I tell you that I would love to have this CD for Mother's Day. I like so many songs on it. I will have to get this NOW That's What I call Music.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get this for some of the younger mothers that I know for mother's day. I am looking for something a bit different for my mother as she is older and doesn't know a lot of these artists on this cd. Great review though and I think this cd is a great deal.
