 ----

Have your kids started to put together their wish lists for the holidays this year?  Even though my youngest is only 1 (she will be 2 this weekend), she is already flipping through toy catalogs with her big sister and circling with a crayon the toys she hopes Santa will bring her.  Top on her list this year, toys from the new Tickety Toc toy line from Just Play, which are exclusive to Toys“R”Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com. Last month, I shared a post which included a review of a Tickety Toc floor puzzle, Tommy Talking Doll and the two Tommy and Tallulah mini plush dolls.  If you missed my post, click here to read it now -- http://www.inspiredbysavannah.com/2013/09/the-new-tickety-toc-toy-line-debuts-at.html.  And, before having the opportunity to get a sneak peek at this new Tickety Toc toy line, I shared a review of the recent “Chime Time Adventures” DVD from Anchor Bay Entertainment, which my girls still watch on a weekly basis -- that is, when they are not tuning in to Nick Jr. to watch this hit animated series daily. :-)

So, when the mailman came the other day with a big box filled with Tickety Toc toys, you would have thought Santa came early in our house.  The girls couldn't stop dancing around, and singing the catchy Tickety Toc theme song, which plays when you push down the the smoke stack on the playful Tickety Toc Musical Pufferty Train.  In addition to this cute musical train toy, I was also sent the Tickety Toc Clockhouse, a fun playset based on the hit animated series.

When I was finally able to get the two new toys out of their boxes and the train set made and attached to the Tickety Toc Clockhouse, the fun started.  You would have thought that these were the only toys the girls owned, as they wouldn't stop playing with them.  And, the next AM when they got up, they ran to the living room to continue playing with the playset and musical pufferty train.  Not only did I want to take photos for this blog post, I also had to show my husband that the girls were able to play together.  Right now, they are going through the terrible 2's and 3's and don't like to share their toys or play together for long.  Usually I am breaking up fights, or having to buy duplicate toys for them to play with. But, once I set down these two new toys from Just Play, it was amazing to see them playing and interacting together, without fighting.

If you have little ones and haven't had a chance to catch Tickety Toc when it airs on Nick Jr., I highly suggest you check out this show.

"Seen daily on Nick Jr., Tickety Toc follows the everyday adventures of 6-year-old twins, Tommy and Tallulah, as they work to “chime the time” and keep everything running smoothly in Tickety Town.  Traveling through the special Tickety Toc clock, where Tommy and Tallulah live, audiences enter a fantastical world of eclectic characters and tag along on exciting escapades filled with slapstick surprises. Tommy and Tallulah’s strong “can do” spirit often produces an unanticipated outcome, but their individual approach to sticky situations and joint resourcefulness always shine through and save the day! Through the twins’ madcap adventures, Tickety Toc explores teamwork, social responsibility and problem solving – important concepts for preschoolers as they learn and grow."

As a parent, I love shows that teach important lessons children can apply to their own lives, all while entertaining children.  My girls are fans of this show, and now the exclusive Tickety Toc toy line found at Toys "R" Us.  And, as they flip through the toy catalogs, I continue to see other toys from the Tickety Toc toy line being circled. As they wait to see what Santa will bring them, they continue to enjoy these new toys sent for review, as well as the talking Tommy doll and plush mini toys, which they sleep with each night.
