Bring Grandma Cookie from Cuddle Barn Home This Holiday Season -- Review and #Giveaway

The past few holiday gift guides, I have been fortunate enough to share reviews and giveaways for Cuddle Barn stuffed animals.  If you are not familiar with Cuddle Barn, then you definitely have to check them out, as they offer a fun line of animated stuffed animals that sing and move around. 

I have Cuddle Barn bookmarked, and always check their site for new additions when the holidays roll around.  And, when preparing for my holiday gift guide, this was one of the first places I went to.  Just look at the cute holiday friends available this year from Cuddle Barn:

After reaching out to Cuddle Barn, I was sent their Grandma Cookie teddy bear ($29.99) to review, as well as offer one for giveaway (scroll down to enter the giveaway).  One of my many cherished memories growing up was going to my Nana's house and spending the day with her making Christmas cookies.  She is Italian and loved to cook, so every time we went to visit, she would fill us with pasta and homemade Italian cookies.  I can't help but smile as I think of her. :-) 

Not only is the Grandma Cookie Teddy cute, but when you push the button on her paw, she talks and recites her famous gingerbread cookie recipe.  When I first showed the girls the teddy bear, they didn't know what to make of it, as they are used to Cuddle Barn teddy bears that sing songs and dance around.  But, once they heard Grandma Cookie talk, they couldn't help but smile.  As this teddy bear reminded me of my Nana, Savannah said that this bear was just like her Nana, who also loves to bake. :-)

While we haven't had a chance to try out the gingerbread cookie recipe that Grandma Cookie recites, and that is included on the festive index card she is holding, I have made a point to write it down and give to my mom, who plans to make these and other Christmas cookies with them in a couple of weeks, when they get to spend the day baking with Nana. I truly love being a mom and being able to share childhood memories such as baking with my Nana with them, and them having the opportunity to create their own cherished memories with my mom.  And, this Christmas, thanks to Grandma Cookie, they will be making gingerbread cookies to leave for Santa, along with a tall glass of cold milk.  :-)
