My Thoughts:
Savannah experienced Halloween and Trick-or-Treating for the first time this year. Even though she loved getting all the candy, Savannah's favorite part of the holiday was the costume. Long before Halloween costumes were available in stores, I would ask her what she wanted to be. And, each and every time she would say Chuggington. So, after looking online, I stumbled across a Koko costume that I knew she would just love. Next to Wilson, Koko is Savannah's favorite trainee chugger on the hit animated series Chuggington. And, when she saw the costume, she couldn't stop begging me to buy it. While the costume looked cute in the photos online, I have to Savannah really made the Koko costume look cute, as she posed for photos on Halloween night:
Doesn't she look cute? Just look at that infectious smile. I am so lucky to be able to stare at it every day, next to Bella with the cute dimple. :-) And, when I am not staring at my girls, I love to play and interact with them. They can't go a day without pulling out their Chuggington train sets, or will even just carry around the chuggers, especially the ones that talk. It has become routine in our house to watch Chuggington after lunch, either on television when it airs, or on one of the many Chuggington DVD's we own. Just the other day, we were sent the upcoming Nov. 12th release, Chuggington: Chief Wilson to watch and review. I told Savannah that in order to watch it, she would have to help me right a review. She agreed, and five viewings later, she continues to tell me the same thing..."This DVD is traintastic!" before breaking out into the catchy Chuggington theme song. So, this DVD gets Savannah's seal of approval. As for Bella, she continues to say "Choo Choo" as she runs around the house pretending to be Wilson or Brewster, her two favorite Chuggington characters. :-)
Personally, after having watched countless Chuggington DVD's, this is one of my favorite ones. It is jam packed with fun adventures, that have the chuggers working together to solve problems and grow as trainees. I like the lesson taught in each episode, and how the show is not only fun to watch, but easy to understand, even for the youngest of viewers. Tomorrow, the girls will be snuggling up next to Nana and Papa who are here to visit for Bella's 2nd birthday, as they watch all 6 full filled episodes. Savannah couldn't stop talking about what they would see, as my mom helped me put her to bed tonight. After a couple Chuggington stories being read, she drifted off to sleep...I am guessing...dreaming about the chuggers, and the fun she will have watching this upcoming DVD with my parents.
If you have a Chuggington fan in your house, you will want to make a point to pick up Chugginton: Chief Wilson, when it arrives in stores on Nov. 12th. And, with the holidays fast approaching, this DVD would make for a great stocking stuffer idea, or paired with other recent Anchor Bay Entertainment Chuggington DVD releases.
