Synopsis:

"An upbeat tale of the ultimate holiday rush, “Saving Santa” starts at the top – the top of the North Pole, that is – where Bernard (Martin Freeman), a low-ranking Elf, dreams of one day joining Santa’s elite team of great inventors, the very elves who make the magic of Christmas possible! But when one of Bernard’s wacky inventions accidentally reveals the secret location of Santa’s workshop to an eccentric billionaire scoundrel (Tim Curry), Santa (Tim Conway) and Christmas itself are in jeopardy. It’s up to Bernard to time-travel (again and again) to get Santa home in time for Christmas! In addition to its collection of top talent and non-stop, action-packed entertainment, “Saving Santa” features must-see bonus content, including the animated music video for “Some Kind of Miracle” sung by Ashley Tisdale (voice of Shiny), “behind-the scenes” voice recording sessions with the film’s talent and a special “Why Saving Santa?” featurette!"

My Thoughts:

I am so excited for this Christmas, as the girls are really getting into the holiday.  Over the weekend, we started pulling out holiday decorations to put up, and Savannah was singing along to Christmas carols with my mom and I.  Then, last night before bed, we had a movie night with my parents and watched this new DVD release.  What a cute story, that even Arabella could understand.

If you watch the trailer above and read the synopsis you will get the gist of the movie.  With all the holiday movies available, I have to say that this one is really entertaining, with its amazing animation.  On a view occasions, Savannah was talking to the television and trying to root Bernard on, or telling the bad guy to leave Santa alone.  This movie really does keep kids engaged from start to finish, with action and adventure.  Can Bernard help save Santa and keep the evil scoundrel from finding out how Santa makes it to all the children's homes on Christmas Eve?  If anyone can do it, it is Bernard, the underdog.

I can't wait to watch this cute holiday movie with the girls again, as the holidays approach.  And, it will be a must-see movie each holiday going forward. :-)  If you love watching holiday movies with your family, especially animated ones, then you will want to check out "Saving Santa," exclusively at Walmart.
