I have shared on numerous occasions how Savannah is our picky eater. When we think she has finally welcomed exploring new foods, she goes back to asking for hammy ham, soup or hot dogs. And, when it comes to drinks, she is the same way -- either water or milk. If she sees her favorite character on a juice bottle, then maybe she will take a sip. Ugg. When talking with the pediatrician, she suggested leaving Savannah's snack or lunch out and letting her graze. But, that didn't work, as Arabella would come around and eat both her and Savannah's plate. So, now I am trying to get her to lose a couple of pounds as she weighs the same as Savannah, while being 15 months younger.
I can't tell you how many kid-friendly cookbooks I have purchased, just to try out finger food recipes with her. But, to no avail, she is stubborn, and likes what she likes. I wonder where she gets that from. :-) The pediatrician also suggested giving her nutritional drinks, so that she gets the vitamins, minerals, etc. that she would otherwise get if she was eating a well balanced meal of fruits, veggies, etc. But, either she spit out the drink when I gave it to her to try, or she flat out refused to try it.
