My Thoughts:
We were first introduced to the Puppy in My Pocket toy line when I was flipping through channels one afternoon in 2012, and landed on the Boomerang channel where the PUPPY IN MY POCKET: ADVENTURES IN POCKETVILLE animated television series was playing. Savannah had just recently started to talk and one of her favorite words to say was "Puppy." And, since then, we have welcomed over a dozen furry friends into our home from the popular Puppy in My Pocket toy line. I was so happy to see this animated series arriving on DVD, as Savannah and now Arabella just love it -- and, I have to admit, I think it is cute, too. :-) Come on, I am dog lover, so anything with dogs in it, I have to watch. :-)
The premise of the animated TV series, which no longer airs on television was about Flo and Magic trying to help the puppies of Pocketville find their forever homes with children in the real world. For little dogs, they sure did have some fun and stylish clothes. While some of my friends with little ones didn't care much for the series, as they didn't like how the voice overs didn't go in sequence with the characters talking, or they thought the storyline was a little stale, I thought it was a cute series for little ones, and my girls loved tuning in to see where each of the puppies wound up, and seeing how much the children who adopted them, loved them.
The girls and I had a blast watching the 7 episodes that make up this new DVD. It was so good to see this series, which Savannah used to love watching back, now available on DVD. She especially got a kick out of seeing it again, as she gathered up all her Puppy in My Pocket toys, to have them watch the fun filled episodes with us.
