My Thoughts:

My two girls are every bit princesses.  They love dressing up, having their hair done up, and having their Daddy dote on them.  And, when it to watching movies, they will usually reach for a princess movie over all the others available.  So, when they saw me taking "The Princess Twins of Legendale" from the mailbox last week, they couldn't wait to get their hands on the DVD, first to admire the beautiful cover art, and then to wave it in front of me, asking when I could put it on for them.  While I thought this movie would be too advanced for them, they both sat through the entire film, and even asked to see it again.

The story line is easy to understand and follow, and has us following Dawn and her twin, Princess Eve, who she learns about while trying to find out about her past, which her father has been keeping from her.  It is only when she reunites with her long lost twin sister, that the two princesses realize that they hold the power to reunite the two kingdoms. The animation is truly breathtaking and really brings the story to life, while the music is pleasing on the airs, and adds depth and suspense when needed throughout the film.

Even though the girls enjoyed this new release, I think I was enjoying more.  While it is about two princesses, I can see boys sitting down to watch it, as it deals with enchanted land, wizards, and is full of adventure that will leave their imagination running wild. :-)
