My Thoughts:
There has been so much buzz about the release of Aurora's new line of My Little Pony plush toys ever since their initial press release back in April of this year. While I was a fan growing up of the show, and now how two daughters who love the new My Little Pony animated series, which airs on The Hub Networks, I had no idea there were so many adult fans who actually collect all things My Little Pony. While my mother kept a handful of my ponies from back in the day, I ended up turning to online auctions and checking out local yard sales, to pick up more My Little Pony ponies and play sets for the girls to play with. I ended up buying a collector's edition pony, and opened the package to give to my daughter. It wasn't until we were out and about shopping that a woman my age stopped me and asked if I knew the pony my daughter was holding was a collector's My Little Pony toy. After we arrived home, I checked it out online and low and beyond, this pony was a collector's edition one and worth $$$ to true pony collectors. This search also led me to learn more about the My Little Pony brand and how successful it has been since it began decades ago. Even though the ponies are now skinnier than the ones I used to remember and play with, the theme is still the same -- friendship! :-)
So, when I heard that Aurora was partnering was working with Hasbro to release 24 My Little Pony styles, I couldn't wait to see the product offering. I am so grateful to the folks at Aurora, Inc. as they made my daughters' days recently, when they sent along two My Little Pony samples from this new collection, for us to review. The pony toys couldn't have come at a better time, as the girls and I had been battling a nasty head cold for a couple weeks, and had spent most of our days and nights laying on the couch. When the girls saw me take the ponies out of the box, it was like they got a second wind, as they hastily walked over to me in the kitchen to take a better look.
Of the upcoming 24 My Little Pony styles, I was sent their 10 inch Applejack MLP and the Rainbow Dash version of Aurora’s
two-piece Fancy Pals to review. Savannah ended up taking the 10" My Little Pony plush, and giving the Rainbow Dash 6.5" pony with matching carrier to Arabella. Little did Savannah know that you could take the pony out of the bag to hold and cuddle. :-) Here are some photos I took of Savannah playing with the new My Little Pony toys from Aurora, Inc.:
Do you have a My Little Pony fan in your house? Or, are you a My Little Pony collector/fan? If so, you will want to pick up some of these cute My Little Pony products before they are gone. Based on the popularity of these toys, I expect them to sell out before Christmas, or be one of the hard-to-find gifts from your child's wish list. Don't be one of those parents/grandparents running around like crazy trying to find these plush toys for your kid. Instead, keep an eye out at your favorite local store that carries Aurora, Inc. plush toys, as they are starting to pop up everyone. Or, keep an eye out at the Aurora, Inc. website, and snatch up the complete My Little Pony collection once it becomes available soon.. And, while you are there, why not check out the other new mid-season additions, including the Special Edition RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY dolls, a new generation of The Kittipillers and Puppillons™, and more.

They are adorable. The prices are really good too. The holidays are fast approaching and I know a couple of little girls that would fall in love with any of them. Thank you for the heads up.
