Doc McStuffins

I have lost count on the number of Wonder Forge games my girls own.  If you were to look into their closet at their games shelve, most of the games are from this amazing company.  So, when I heard that Wonder Forge had released two new games centering about Disney Jr.'s ever popular Doc McStuffins, I had to reach out and see about reviewing them with my girls.  The kinds folks at Wonder Forge sent along the Doc McStuffins Matching Game and the Doc McStuffins Sharing is Caring Dominoes Game for us to review.  :-)

I wish you could have seen the girls' faces when I pulled these two games out of the box.  As soon as they saw Doc, they both began singing the Doc McStuffins theme song, as they ran over to get a better look.  Luckily, two games were sent, which made for game time with two fussy toddlers who are working on sharing, much easier for Mom. :-)  They each took turns trying out the two games, until they came together to play the memory game with me.  You may think that you daughter is the #1 Doc McStuffins fan, but I have to venture my guess on my girls.  They can't get enough of this toy doctor.  When they are not watching Doc McStuffins on the Disney Jr. channel daily, they have me put on their growing collection of DVDs, or tune in to the Disney Jr. app on Daddy's iPad to watch repeat episodes, or even play the Doc McStuffins app game. Both my girls have Doc McStuffins bedding and toys that fill their rooms.  And, now, they have two great Doc McStuffins games to play.  And, boy are they playing with them. Each and every day, the girls make a b-line to their closet to ask me to pull down the games for them to play.  When they are not following the easy to understand and follow directions, they love making up their own games with the cardboard tiles.  Savannah loves to play FISH with the memory game cards with me, while Arabella can't get enough of matching the domino style cards to her collection of Doc McStuffins plush toys. She can even name each and every character! Not bad for a 19 month old. :-)

I am so happy that my girls were able to try out these two new games from Wonder Forge, and that I was able to share them with you, as I know many of you probably have a Doc McStuffins fan in your house.  In addition to Disney's Doc McStuffins, Wonder Forge also carries other Disney favorites like Minnie Mouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sofia the First and even the new Planes movie.

Children of all ages, especially toddlers/pre-schoolers will enjoy the matching games from Wonder Forge.  Speaking from personal experience, my girls have been able to hone their matching and memory skills thanks to these games.  And, like I said, they love to make up their own games, which shows their imaginations at work!  Hate having to pick up small pieces from your child's favorite board games?  Not to worry with most games Wonder Forge.  Many of them come with fun storage containers.  Take for instance the Doc McStuffins dominoes game.  This game came with a vinyl doctor's bag, similar to the one Doc McStuffins carries around on the hit television series.  When my girls are done playing with the game, they love being able to pick up and store the game pieces in this handy storage bag.  And, this bag makes it great for taking to Nana and Papa's house, or over to a friend's house for a play date.
