There is no denying that while my two daughters are Daddy's little girls, they are Mommy's pretty princesses! :-) So, when I saw that Nuby has a Princess Sport Sipper, I just had to get one for the girls. I was sent one for review as part of the Nuby Mommy blogger program, and ordered another one from Amazon for only $11.50 (click here now to buy one: http://www.amazon.com/NUBY-BPA-FREE-Sport-Sipper/dp/B0037LPX5Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372739617&sr=8-1&keywords=nuby+princess+sport+sipper)
Available in a variety of cute Princess designs that make cup drinking more fun, it is sized just right for little hands to grip. In addition, this sport sipper also comes with an easy to use sipper straw, that is durable enough for your child's newly formed sharp teeth. Like other Nuby bottles and sippy cups, you don't have to worry about spills or leaky cups, as they engineer all their products to prevent spills and reduce leaks...which I love! :-)
Out of my two daughters, Savannah, my oldest, was more excited to try out the sports sipper. Prior to receiving this sipper cup, she had been using another cup with grip handles. But, when she saw the Princess Sport Sipper from Nuby, she thought was upgrading to a "big girl" sippy cup. :-) Both girls took to the sipper cup, as they are used to used straw sippy cups. I did find, however, that Arabella, who is teething again, preferred to chew on the tip of the sipper straw rather than drink it. But, unlike her other sippy cup, which I recently had to replace the straw as it had holes in it from her sharp teeth, the sipper straw was so durable, I couldn't find any holes or chew marks.
So, if you have a princess in your life, why not surprise her with her very own Princess Sport Sipper cup. I will definitely be picking up two more of these Sport Sippers to keep at Nana and Papa's house. And, with the summer in full gear and the hot weather finally here, these Sport Sipper cups are coming in handy for on-the-go travel, to help keep the girls cool and hydrated. The only thing I wish this cup had was a way to close and conceal the straw at the top, for safer and cleaner transport when brought on the go. There have been a few occasions where Savannah has brought this sport sipper in the car, and it tumbled out when we opened the door. So, I had to take it away and wait until we got home to remove and sanitize the straw. But, other than this, the sport sipper is great! And, the cute princess design will have any little girl smiling. :-)
