"Time for your check up, time for your check up."  If you have little ones who watch Disney Jr., then you are probably familiar with one of their hit shows, "Doc McStuffins," which is about a little girl who plays doctor to toys, to make them feel better.  When she touches her pretend stethoscope her collection of stuffed animals come alive.  This really is a cute show to watch, and one that both boys and girls enjoy watching.  All my mommy friends are also fans of Doc and her cuddly pals. 

So, when I heard that Walt Disney Records was coming out with a CD Soundtrack from this popular Disney Jr. series, I couldn't wait to get it, and listen with the girls.  The kind folks at Walt Disney Records sent along not only the CD, but also "Run-Down Racecar" soft cover storybook from Disney Press, as well as a cute mini Doc McStuffins doll to play with.  As soon as the girls saw me taking this Doc McStuffins swag out of the box, they went crazy.  In unison, they began singing the catchy "Time for Your Check Up" song, which is played on the show, every time Doc sees a new patient.  I was in the middle of finishing up packing for our 4th of July getaway, so made the girls wait until we got in the car to listen to the CD.  I wish you could have seen the pouts they gave me, as if I had taken away their favorite toy.  But, thankfully the storybook and doll kept them entertained, as they waiting to listen to the CD.

The wait was well worth it.  The CD started with the catchy theme song, which even my husband who was driving, sang along to.  What a great way to start out our 3-hour drive to NH.  And, with 25 songs in total on this new CD soundtrack, the fun continued all the way to the last song, "Everybody in the Pool."  We had a great listening party in the car, and it really made the long drive more entertaining.  

While Arabella could listen to all the songs over and over again, Savannah did have a few song requests, which included "Wash Your Hands" and "Water Water," which talked about staying hydrated.  The "Water Water" song came in play during our trip, as we had a 90 degree heat wave.  My husband and I would sing this catchy song to the girls, as we passed them their sippy cups filled with water, so that they would stay hydrated.

I don't know if my husband has bragged to his friends at work, but thanks to our recent car trip, he can now sing all the songs from this new CD Soundtrack, and knows all the names of Doc's stuffed animals. :-)
