Random House: Bringing You the Best in Fiction, Nonfiction, and Children's Books

What a way to wrap up a fun week of reading new books to the girls at bedtime, and during our one-on-one time.  I am finding that Arabella is getting just as excited as Savannah is when it comes to reading time, and is even sitting still longer.  She has even added a few new words to her vocabulary including "Sofia" and "Tea", thanks to the new A Little Golden Book, "Sofia the First: The Perfect Tea Party" from Random House.

My girls just love watching Sofia the First on Disney Junior, and were so excited when I showed them this book the other day.  I told them that they would have to wait until bedtime for me to read it to them.  You should have saw them that afternoon...pacing around, continually asking me when bedtime was, or if we could read the book sooner.  I made them wait until bedtime, and it was well worth the wait, as this was a cute story to share.  Fans of Sofia the First will enjoy this A Little Golden Book, as the story is easy to understand and follow, and the illustrations are amazing.

Since receiving "Sofia the First: The Perfect Tea Party," and reading it at bedtime to the girls, this has become an instant hit in our house.  The girls can't go a day without pulling  it from the bookcase and flipping through the pages themselves.  And, when it comes time to choose a book for bedtime, they continually ask for this one.

In addition to the Sofia the First book, Random House also released a fun CARS book for kids to enjoy this summer.  BONUS:  This book comes with over 30 stickers!!!!
