My Thoughts:

Does your family love the Kung Fu Panda movies?  If so, did you know that there was a television series based on this popular family friendly film series, which airs on Nick?  I didn't know until I was recently sent a copy of Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness to review, and my nephew was over.  When he saw the screener copy, he got excited, and said that this is one of his favorite shows on Nick.  I smiled, not only because I love seeing my family happy, but also because I knew I would have a great review partner, who could provide insight on the recent Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness: Good Croc, Bad Croc release.

For those not familiar with this Nick television computer-animated series, it takes place between the first two Kung Fu Panda films, and has viewers watching as Po trains to become a successful Dragon Warrior.  Who doesn't like Po?  My family adores him, even if he is a little rough around the edges and clumsy at times. :-)

Thsi new DVD is filled with over 2 hours of Po enjoyment.  There are 7 episodes from the hit show, that will leave any Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness excited to want to watch over and over again.  These episodes include:

Good Croc, Bad Croc
The Princess and the Po
Chain reaction
Bad Po
Jailhouse Panda
Father Crime
Po Fans Out

Like all episodes in this Nick series, Po and the Furious Five work together to defend the Valley of Peach from villains.  While in training to become a successful Dragon Warrior, Po makes mistakes, learns lessons and new things, like more about the history of kung fu (one of the things my nephew likes most about the show, and what drew him to enroll in kung fu after school).

I sat down and watched the entire DVD in one sitting with my nephew.  Having never seen it before, I was excited to see Po on the screen.  As I watched each episode I could see why my nephew and so many other Kung Fu Panda love this television series.  Not only is is full of adventure, but the lessons learned by Po can be applied to your child's life.  I love how the episodes show how Po makes mistakes, but tries again, and doesn't let his mistakes discourage himself from working to achieve his goals.

This is definitely one DVD worth picking up and watching with your children.  It will definitely open up lines of communication, as you all talk about what you learned from the episodes.
