With the warmer weather finally here, I can now start planning summer cookouts. And, with these gatherings, come game night for the adults and children. So, I am always on the lookout for fun games both parents and children can play together. I don't know about you, but I always seem to find myself getting hooked on online games. Before apps and Facebook, I would find myself losing track of time, as I would play the solitaire game that came with the computer. Then, when social media and online gaming took off, I would try out and then get hooked with games like Tetris. As games became more advanced with cool graphics and multi-player online gaming capabilities, my list of favorite (addicting) games grew longer. One game that I have been playing for a few years, and make a point to play daily online, as a stress reliever is, BEJEWELED. Have you played this game online? If so, what do you think of it? Has it become a guilty pleasure of yours too? If you have heard about or played BEJEWELED, then you really must check it out, as it so much fun to play.
Fans of BEJEWELED with love to hear about a new game from Hasbro called BEJEWELED Frenzy, which recently came out.

I was sent a review copy on Friday, and have already played this board game over a dozen times with my husband. Instead of movie night on Friday, we opted to pull some of our favorite board games, as well as try this new game. After the first game, we were both hooked, and ready to play again...and again...until we found ourselves playing this game for over two hours straight. Every time the other person would win, we would challenge them to another game, in hopes to claim victory. :-)
Learning to play the game was easy. And, you don't have to be a fan of BEJEWELED to fall in love with their addicting board game, which is suitable for ages 8+, and can be played with 2-4 players. In this card version of the online BEJEWELED game, players collapse matching cards and collect gems, all while earning bonus points with Boost Gem. Once all the cards have been played, the game is over, and players count up each card stack and Boost Gems collected. The person will the highest score is named the Bejeweled Frenzy winner!
While my husband and I were the only two who played this game on Friday, I can't wait to add another couple to the mix, and see how much fun the game is with 4 players. :-) And, when we aren't playing this game, I have been using BEJEWELED Frenzy to teach Savannah, our almost 3 year old her colors. She has a blast matching up the 7 colorful BEJEWELED pieces which come with the game, with their matching cards. Savannah thinks she is a big girl, not only because she can match each and every pair on the cards placed in front of her, but she also knows all her colors. :-)
So, if your family loves board games, or are fans of BEJEWELED, then you must check out BEJEWELED Frenzy from Hasbro Games. This is one game you will find yourself pulling off the shelf come game night, time and again...and, one game that will be a hit when every member of the family, young and old. Just be prepared to get competitive when you play this game. This fast moving game will have you wanting a rematch, until you find yourselves 2+ hours into game play, like my husband and I were this past Friday. :-)
