I can finally say that our house is finally healthy. :-) After what seemed like forever, well the past two months, the girls and I are have finally kicked the stomach flu, sinus infection and then the flu itself, which went through the house and lingered. Even with the flu shot this year, and trying to stay clear of congested places where we could pick up germs, we still managed to get sick. But, thankfully, I had stocked up Little Remedies OTC medicine just in case, and was so glad that I did.
When we first welcomed our first daughter, Savannah, back in 2010, one of my major concerns was what to give her when she got sick. After reading all the reports and stories out there about giving children medicine too early, and having them develop reactions and even worse developmental or health conditions, I was leery about what to give -- even when prescribed by the doctors. But, then a few of the moms in one of my Mommy and Me meetups kept talking about the brand, Little Remedies, and how they offer OTC products for babies and children. So, I checked out this brand when stocking up on baby necessities one day, and loved how "Little Remedies uses the “Less is More” approach in their products, using as few ingredients as possible and keeping them free of alcohol, artificial dyes, or artificial colors."
How do you feel about natural forms of medication when it comes to treating ailments in your children? This has become my first line of OTC medicine I look for when treating cold and flu symptoms with my girls, as I don't want to give them other medicines full of unnecessary dyes alcohol, etc. And, with the recent cold and flu that went through our house, I was not let down with my selection of OTC medicine for them, which included Little Remedies Honey Elixir and Acetaminophen.
