Hallmark Turns Up the Music with Cody Simpson Greetings (Review and #Giveaway)

My Thoughts:

I am so happy that my daughters are not fans of Justin Bieber.  I don't know if I could stand listening to his music in the house, or worse, seeing photos of him on the walls.  Thankfully, they are not old enough to want to plaster their walls with teeny bopper posters just yet.  But, Savannah has already started liking particular music artists, that when she hears their songs, can name the artist, song and even sing along.  Right now, she is into Bruno Mars and Cody Simpson.  So, the other, when I received a sampling of the new Cody Simpson line of greeting cards, now available at Hallmark Gold Crown® stores nationwide (with cards being available at Walmart stores soon), I knew who would be just the right person to help me review them. :-)

As soon as she saw the stack of cards, like any fan, she went crazy, yelling and calling out "Cody Simpson."  Before I could show her each greeting card individually, she had grabbed the stack from my hand, and at on the living room floor with them.  She went through each card, first admiring Cody Simpson on the outside cover, and then bopping along to the music inside the musical cards.  Her favorite card of all was the oversized Cody Simpson card, which had him singing "Happy Birthday" to her.  Even though it wasn't Savannah's birthday, she didn't mind.  And, for about fifteen minutes straight, she kept opening and shutting the card, just to hear Cody Simpson wish her a happy birthday.  I liked watching her smile and get all giddy, as she listened to Cody Simpson. It was like she thought he recorded a personal message just for her. :-)
