I have found myself telling people that I can't believe how fast my girls are growing, leaving me to wonder what happened to the baby months. :-( I guess that when you have children close in age, it makes it go by quicker. And, even though my daughters are 15 months apart, they practically do the same things -- with the exception that Arabella is not talking yet.
Just the other day, Arabella picked up one of Savannah's spoons and began feeding herself. We didn't practice with her -- she just picked it up by watching her sister. And, just today, she stated using a fork. I keep thinking to myself, I wish she would slow down growing and enjoy being a baby -- but, I guess she really wants to catch up to sister. While Savannah took her time in transitioning from a bottle to a sippy cup, using utensils, etc., Arabella started transitioning early on. She started walking at 9 months, and was using a sippy cup with straw at 4 months.
While I try to sit back and enjoy them while they are still young (and not taking back to me) :-), I can't help but wonder how other moms of toddlers are dealing with the transitioning to sippy cup, feeding utensils, etc. If you have young children, I'd love to hear how things are going.
