Synopsis:

"Prepare for some especially ripe comedy when the outrageously funny series, The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange: Escape From The Kitchen, peels out on DVD March 12, 2013 from Salient Media and Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment.  Featuring an abundance of guest stars, including Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) and the late Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile), the hilarious YouTube sensation Annoying Orange made its television debut on Cartoon Network in 2012, drawing more than 2.6 million viewers and consistently winning its time slot in key demos.  With more than 1.3 billion views, Annoying Orange has become a true pop culture phenomenon.* The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange: Escape From The Kitchen follows Annoying Orange and his band of produce buddies as they navigate the time-space continuum in their magical fruit cart.  From the Prehistoric Era to Colonial Times, Orange and the rest of the crew are dropped into random adventures and forced to squeeze their way out. My Thoughts:

Like the Rocky Horror Picture Show and other pop culture hits, Annoying Orange ranks up there for must see television for the Gen. X and Y viewers.  I have only watched a few episodes, but get the bulk of my Annoying Orange fix from You Tube clips family and friends share via email.  Either you love or you hate these types of shows.  But, the Cartoon Network, which airs this popular series, is drawing more and more followers with each new episode.  And, with this and upcoming releases in the series, I suspect more new followers and those curious to learn about the show and its hype will be tuning in.

If you have heard about but have never seen an episode of Annoying Orange, or are a die-hard fan, then this upcoming DVD is worth picking up.

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
