My Thoughts:
The other day while Savannah waited for Arabella to get up from her afternoon nap, she started getting into the party spirit by coloring My Little Pony Pinkie Pie Party coloring sheets I was able to print off from the bonus section of this new release. while she colored, I played the sing along video for her, and watched as she took breaks from coloring to dance around the living room. :-) And, once Arabella awoke, the fun began.
Like I have shared in the past, both of my daughters are huge fans of My Little Pony the new animated series which airs on The Hub Network, due in part to my love for these pretty ponies when I was a child. I have since passed my collection of My Little Pony toys over to them, as well as picked up a few more. Savannah's favorite is her Princess Cadence pony which talks and sings, that Santa brought her this past Christmas. And, before the movie began, she ran to her room to get her favorite pony and blanket, and then found a good spot on the couch to snuggle in to watch all 5 episodes that make up this new release. I wasn't sure if Arabella would sit through all five, but seeing the excitement that Savannah had during and after each episode, she didn't want to miss out.
So, as I prepared dinner, my girls had a blast watching this new DVD release and seeing Pinkie Pie through a party (their favorite episode). After the DVD was over, Savannah showed Arabella her coloring sheets, and they spent some time coloring together from the printable sheets I had printed out for them early.
If you have a My Little Pony fan in your house, or grew up loving these ponies and want to introduce your little girl to them, why not pick up this new release? You can choose to watch one episode at a time, or all five like my girls did. Don't worry, you don't have to watch all in order, which I love.
