My Thoughts:
Who knew that girls would love Thomas & Friends, just as much as boys do. Well, that is the case with my two daughters. Savannah first fell in love with this lovable engine last year, and has since gotten Arabella hooked on the show. If you were to walk into our home, the first thing you would see is Savannah's train sets with all the Thomas & Friends characters. And, if you asked her about Thomas, she would then give you a tour of the house and show you her DVD, Book and toy collection of all things Thomas. :-) To say she is a fan of the show is an understatement.
So, when I surprised her after Christmas with the screener copy to watch, it felt like Christmas all over again. She went crazy and couldn't wait to watch this DVD, which is filled with 5 full-filled episodes, along with a bonus section including puzzles, a game and karaoke song. The girls can't get enough of the "Go Go Thomas" karaoke song, and have a blast dancing around together to it. As for the episodes, it was hard to determine which of the five were their favorites, as we have seen all of them over a dozen times so far. Usually there is one standout episode, but not with this new release. They liked each one about the same, and like I said can't get enough of them. During our recent drive to the grandparents house, this DVD was played over and over again during the 2 hour drive. While my husband and I were good after the first play through, the girls in unison asked for "more," and sat their contently to watch this DVD a second time.
