My Thoughts:
You don't have to be a boy to like The Adventures of Chuck and Friends. Thanks in part to popular animated movies like Cars, boys and girls seem to go crazy for animated movies with talking vehicles in it. When I first shared The Adventures of Chuck and Friends with Savannah last year, when sent a DVD to review from the folks at Shout! Factory, she thought it was another version of the Cars movie. But, after showing her the DVD cover and sharing the synopsis where her, she began to realize that this was something else -- but something she wanted to check out. And, after playing that DVD for her, she became in instant fan of The Adventures of Chuck and Friends, and makes point to watch it each week on The Hub TV Network.
Who can resist the likes of Digger, Rowdy, Handy, Biggs, Boomer and Flip? In this new release, set to hit store shelves on Feb. 19th, fans of this series with enjoy 10 jam packed cartoons, that will take them on wild adventures, while instilling the importance of teamwork and friendship in your child. it is hard to say which episode my daughters liked the best, as we have watched this DVD in its entirety each time, over half a dozen times -- in less than 2 weeks. :-) But, I can say that they both went crazy for the bonus sing-along song, which had them moving and grooving in the living, as they danced together.
So, if you have a fan of The Adventures of Chuck and Friends in your house, you will definitely want to pick up a copy of this DVD when it arrives in stores on Feb. 19th. It would make for a great Easter basket gift. :-) I know, let's get through Valentine's Day first. :-)
