My Thoughts:

 

If you follow you blog, then you know that my daughter, Savannah, loves loves loves the hit animated series, Chuggington, which aires on Disney Junior daily.  Not only does she have a growing DVD collection, but she loves playing with her new Chuggington train set with her Daddy every night.  They plan to set up the train set around the Christmas tree once we put it up in a couple of weeks.  But, in the meantime, Savannah has been enjoying this new DVD release, which features Chuggington fan's favorite trainees, in a wintery wonderland.  

The DVD includes the following episodes:

• Chilly Chuggers
• Snowstruck Wilson
• Wilson's Icy Escapade
• Heave-Ho Harrison
• Hodge Sails Away
• Rolling Reporter Wilson

This 60-minute Chuggington holiday DVD will have children asking you to play the DVD from start to finish.  Usually, I will play 1-2 episodes at a time, but I found myself wanting more after each episode.  :-)  Out of the 6 episodes that make up this new release, I have to say Savannah's favorites were Rolling Reporter Wilson (as Wilson is her favorite trainee) and Wilson's Icy Escapade.  Even though Savannah saw snow last winter, she was too young to really understand and enjoy it.  When she saw the snowy tracks, she asked me what it was and why we didn't have it outside.  I can't wait for the snow to come and have the opportunity to have our own winter wonderland for Savannah to enjoy. If only it didn't have to be so cold for the snow to fall.   But, as we wait for the snow to arrive here in New England (maybe this Wed. or Thursday according to the newcasters), Savannah can enjoy the beautifully snowy scenes that make up these action-packed episodes of Chuggington: Icy Escapades.

Why not surprise your trainee with a copy of this new release as a stocking stuffer, or share before the holidays to get them in them excited about the snow. :-)
